SAIL Western Colorado
SAIL Western Colorado is located in Crested Butte, Colorado. Sailing is our passion! From June 15th through September 15th, we sail on Blue Mesa; Colorado’s largest and best sailing lake. We offer many types of sailing outings and excursions to help you explore Blue Mesa and introduce you to sailing.
Our Guides
All of our sailing guides have American Sailing Association certification. This is formal recognition that they have met internationally recognized sailing standards, and have passed both sailing theory and sailing skills certification tests. Our guides are all CPR certified, and place the utmost importance in guest safety at all times. They have a passion for sailing, have sailed extensively and are locals. They know the area, love taking people out on a sailboat, and will do a fantastic job of making your sailing outing a memorable one.
Our Sailing School
Our sailing school, Nautilus Sailing, offers American Sailing Association instruction and certification, on Blue Mesa and at warmer latitudes (the Caribbean and Sea of Cortez). For more information please visit the website, www.nautilussailing.com.
